Courses

Want to know more about Christianity?

 

 The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith. For details of latest our latest course see New Life Alpha. The usual format for an evening is as follows:

 Supper:

There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

 Talk:

  After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.

 Coffee & small groups:

 
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Christianity Explored is a course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity. It examines who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him today.

FOUNDATION COURSE

The Foundation Course is designed for those wanting to know more about New Life Church. It is intended for people who are considering becoming members of New Life - but is also open to others who want to attend. Led by the pastors, it looks at what we believe, our values and how and why we do things the way we do.

Groups

Home Groups 

Small groups are key to helping people grow in their Christian faith. At New Life we encourage people to get involved in Home Groups which meet twice a month for fellowship, Bible study and prayer.

They also meet socially on an informal basis and food is usually never far away!

20's Group

A home group specifically for those in their twenties. Meets for Bible study, prayer and social activities.

Causeway

A group for those with learning disabilities, which meets on Sunday mornings during the main Sunday meeting at New Milton Junior School, and also once a month at New Life Christian Centre in the evening. A fantastic group run by a dedicated team. More information on Causeway Prospects.

Residential Home Outreach

Twice a week a dedicated team visit many of the residential homes in the local region. Using songs, quizzes and testimony they reach out with the love of Jesus to the elderly and infirm.

Other

A family breakfast once a term at New Life Christian Centre. A crazy mix of food, fun, games, DVD's and interactive mayhem. A time when anything can happen and usually does. Suitable for just about everyone as long as you're not boring. Oh and if you're coming don't wear your best clothes!!

Men's Group

Meets twice a month to discuss relevant issues, encourage each other, study the Bible, pray, and take part in social activities to which any friends are invited.
