Youth

At New Life Church we aim to not just 'keep' young people whilst their parents attend our services, but to make disciples - both growing and developing young people into who God has called them to be - whilst also reaching young people that don’t yet know Him, and bringing the good news of Jesus in a relevant way that connects with their generation.

Café Light

Café Light is a youth café /drop in for 11-16 year-olds run on a Friday night. This is a relational event with the intention of 'being' with friends whilst enjoying a safe and relaxed environment. We run the youth café two Fridays a month, a film night (big cinema-style screen) once a month and an event night the other Friday of each month.

Lighthouse

This group is for 11-14yr olds and runs as part of our Sunday morning services from approx. 10.30 – 11.30. We use up-to-date material to teach the Bible in a way that is relevant, lively and effective for this age group.

Follow/Stuff

We run several youth 'cells' on a Wednesday night for ages 15-20. These are peer-led groups which have a powerful sense of community, whilst bringing Biblical teaching that is relevant to the everyday issues that this generation is facing. 'Stuff' is the social side of the Follow group and meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month; we enjoy a varied calendar of events with the focus being on social inclusion and the opportunity to invite friends.

The Box

The Box is a one hour 'cell group' for young people who attend Café Light and want to explore more about the Christian faith without coming to church! This is a relaxed 'chill out' style group which gives young people the opportunity to ask questions.

Events and Trips

Over the course of the year we organise a variety of events and trips including ‘Soul Survivor’, mission trips, theme park days, gigs and other exciting stuff as and when it comes up.
