Who is New Life Church?

In a short sentence, New Life Church is a community of  around 200 Christians meeting on Sundays at New Milton Memorial Hall (9:40-10am for refreshments, with our service starting at 10:05am) and during the week at New Life Centre, Gore Road for various events. Staff Team
John Fowler
Senior Pastor/Elder
John has been our senior pastor since 2004, having started as an assistant pastor in 1998. John left BT after 17 years in a sales role before training for pastoral ministry at Moorlands College. He is married to Miriam who is a Registered General Nurse, working in a local Hospice. They moved from the London area in the late eighties, they have three adult daughters. In his spare time John loves to spend time with Miriam, family and is often planning the next DIY project! John is thoroughly committed to the local church connecting with the community to see folk find a solid relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in relationship with God and each other.
Tom Rothwell
Assistant Pastor / Elder
Tom is our Assistant Pastor with responsibility for our Youth Ministry. Tom is married to Kalee who is a early years teacher at a local nursery in Lymington. They have two children Elizabeth & Matthew. Tom & Kalee both studied at Moorlands College, Tom focussed on "Church Leadership" and Kalee on "Community and Family Studies”. Tom has been involved in Church ministry since he was 18 in the areas of worship, youth work and preaching. Tom & Kalee both have a strong passion for the local Church and seeing people grow to go and make an impact for Jesus in their communities and the world.
Natasha Bagga
Children & Family Worker
Natasha is our Children & Family worker (since 2011), responsible for reaching out to families in our community, but also families already in the church. Natasha is married to Daniel. They met while helping to set up and run a children's project in Uganda, where Daniel is from. Natasha has been trained in children's outreach ministry during her 5 years in Brooklyn, New York, with 'Metro World Child', founded by Pastor Bill Wilson. Daniel & Natasha both have a strong passion to lead people to Christ in both mission, especially back in Uganda by helping the poor, but also through equipping people to grow and live out their desires & giftings

Andy Stevens
Elder
Andy has been an Elder at New Life Church for nearly ten years. They work for OMF International. Andy is mobilising for mission in Europe, and Jenni is supporting applicants for short-term mission from non-traditional missionary-sending countries around the world. Andy is excited about mission, worship and Jesus, and loves getting his head around Old Testament stories. He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Applied Theology from Moorlands, a degree in French. They have two children, Matthew and Isabelle.
Don Bargh
Elder
Don is on the Eldership and is the House Group Coordinator. He has retired from his career as a GP and now, together with his wife Ros they enjoy serving as Street Pastors and serving in the kitchens on a Ventures summer camp for teenagers. They have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Having joined New Life in 1995 they value New Life’s charismatic, evangelical emphasis, and see our nation as being in desperate need of a fresh spiritual awakening.
Peter Parslow
Elder
Peter is a Chartered software Engineer working at Ordnance Survey, where he leads their work on open standards. He became in elder in 2017, with a particular focus on world mission. Peter met his wife Elisabeth at All Nations Christian College in the 1980s, and with their three sons they spent the 1990s working for The Leprosy Mission in Bhutan and Nepal.
Nigel Simmons
Elder
Nigel is a Chartered Mining Engineer, and has worked for British Coal, Mars and Vesuvius. His changing roles have taken his family to a variety of locations in the Midlands, Yorkshire, Brussels (Belgium) before finally settling in Hampshire in 2011. Nigel is married to Jeanette, has three adult children, and is currently a Debt Coach for Christians Against Poverty (CAP) in the local area. Nigel’s passion is for evangelism, with a particular emphasis on the local community.
David Morgan
Elder
David’s work in the electronics industry led him, along with his wife and family, to move from S. Wales to Woodley, near Reading, where he became Youth Leader and part of the church oversight. They later moved to this area to pioneer a church in Lymington which David pastored for seven years before returning to employment in I.T. He continued as a trustee and part of the team of a church in Bournemouth until the death of his wife from cancer. Happily married to Jane for almost two years now, they have three sons from David’s first marriage plus Jane’s son & daughter. They also have two young grandsons. David is part of the preaching team and he and Jane host one of the church house groups.
